Update

Thanks to everyone who has supported Katie's Heroes. To date we are at $150 - and have a ways to go. If you haven't donated yet I am asking you to please consider. Our chapter does great work and helps people when they need it most.

Disaster-wise, March has been a pretty quiet month with only 3 fires so far. In February we had a record breaking 15 fires! We are hoping this is not a trend.

A year ago March 14 our chapter responded to the flooding in Browns Valley, MN. After getting the call around 3 in the morning our chapter sprung into action. Over the course of a week 22 volunteers from the Central MN Chapter as well as several volunteers from across the state provided assistance to this community that was devastated by a flood. I have never been more proud of my volunteers or the work that the Red Cross does. The picture is from the first day we were there.
